Proud dog owners will once again have the chance to show off their pets at a pet fair and dog show organised by the Petuaria Community Forum.
Following the success of last year’s event, this year’s Pet-u-Fair-ia will again be held at Blackburn Social Club on Sunday 7th July 2019 from 1pm to 4pm. There will be stalls to peruse from local pet-based businesses and various displays running throughout the afternoon.
Dog owners who bring their pooches along will have the opportunity to take part in ‘Have A Go Agility’ sessions.
The highlight for many will be the dog show which is open to all. There will be 14 classes including Best Rescue Dog, Cutest Puppy and Waggiest Tail with prizes and rosettes sponsored by Brough-based dog training and day care company Simply K9 Ltd.
Entry to Pet-u-Fair-ia is free to the public. Refreshments will be available from the bar.
Last year’s event raised £325 for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
